Wills and Legacies
Please remember us in your will
Remembering George House Trust in your will, no matter how big or small the legacy gift, makes a huge difference to the services we provide to HIV positive people.
Leaving a gift in your will to George House Trust means you can be safe in the knowledge that it will help support our services for HIV+ people.
And be assured your gift will be confidential, if you wish.
Legacy gifts are particularly important for our Welfare Fund, which we use to make grants to people facing serious financial hardship at a particular point in their lives. These one off grants can be for things as diverse as buying children school uniforms, financial support for a course to retrain, travel expenses for a university or job interview, or furniture for a new home after being homeless.
Destitution help too - our Welfare Fund provides life support to people who are destitute, without any benefits, wages or other income such as people with HIV who have been refused asylum but who cannot safely return. It also supports the many people who are surviving on below poverty line benefits or wages - our fund help with basic needs like food, and bills for basics like water and heating.
If you’d like to arrange a meeting to talk about the possibility of leaving a legacy gift in your will to George House Trust, please contact us on 0161 274 4499 or email us, in complete confidence.
