M.A.C. Viva Glam Lipsticks and Lipgloss

If you buy Viva Glam lip products from from M.A.C. cosmetics, you’ll help people with HIV and AIDS around the world, including here at George House Trust in North West England.

The M.A.C. AIDS Fund was established in 1994 by M.A.C. Cosmetics to support people affected by HIV and AIDS across the world.

Money is raised through the sale of VIVA Glam lipsticks and glosses, available in five fabulous shades, from M.A.C. counters in major shops and online

Each Viva Glam lipstick costs £12, and all the money is donated to the M.A.C. AIDS Fund and then distributed to charities nationally and internationally.

George House Trust has been supported from the M.A.C. AIDS Fund to help our work over the years. For example, in 2008 we received £30,000 to support our advice and advocacy work for people living with HIV in North West England.

Easy Fundraising

Sign up to easyfundraising.org.uk

You can also give money to GHT without it costing you an extra penny!

The concept is simple, instead of searching for a shop's website in google, click on the retailer's  link on the Easy Fundraising Website. You will pay no more for your goods, but the retailer gives a percentage of the money that you have spent to the charity of your choice – which of course would be George House Trust!

Shops that use Easy Fundraising include:
  • Amazon – 2.5% - for every £1 you spend, GHT would get 2.5 pence of it
  • Marks and Spencer – 2.5% - If you purchased say a suit for £100 – then GHT would get a £2.50 donation from Marks and Spencer.
  • Every time you do a weekly shop at Tesco’s online – GHT would get a £2.50 donation from Tesco. It wouldn’t cost you a penny! Similar schemes are available from other supermarkets, where they offer a percentage of their sale as a donation to us.

If just ten people did their weekly shops online through Easy Fundraising – then that would raise a whopping £1300 a year for GHT. Just from buying your food shopping as normal!

There are hundreds of retailers on Easy Fundraising and lots of special offers to take advantage of too.

How do I sign up?

Register your email address and name to the Easy Fundraising website and then select George House Trust as your charity – it takes just a minute to set up. The shop away!
