Our Trustees
Our Trustees are elected each year at our October Annual General Meeting and form our Board of Trustees.
Most George House Trust Trustees are nominated from our members, ensuring that the Board is representative of our service users and volunteers. The Board has also created two extra places for co-optees - people who have valuable outside skills and experience.
Induction training takes place in November of every year to ensure everyone is clear on their responsibilities.
The Board meets every 2 months to discuss the strategic direction of the charity, receive management reports, and to ensure that our legal requirements as an organisation are met.
Individual smaller committees are also formed including senior staff and trustees to focus on specific work areas. These include:
- Membership and Volunteering
- Policy and Employment
- Finance and Risk Management
The 2011-12 trustees are:
Steven Ainscow
Kate Alcock (Vice Chair)
David Borrows (Co-optee)
Damian Kelly

Stewart Murau (Treasurer)
Joe Phillips
