Thursday 23/02/2012 - African Men's Calabash - Parenting

Time: 5.30 p.m until 7.30 p.m.

Have you got questions about parenting, or do you just want to learn how to spend more quality time with your kids? Andy O’Brien (George House Trust) will be talking you through some new ideas and there'll also be a guest speaker (to be confirmed). Light snacks, tea and coffee are provided. + Travel expenses are paid for those on a low income. + George House Trust volunteers and staff are on hand if you need them.

Tuesday 28/02/2012 - Information Session - Stopping Smoking

Time: 12 noon to 2.30pm
Location: 77 Ardwick Green North, Manchester
Information Sessions are held every month on the 4th Tuesday, for all people who are living with HIV and there is no need to book. Information Sessions are usually led by George House Trust staff and each month there is a different topic. ==== Light snacks, tea, coffee and soft drinks provided. ==== A free crèche for under 5's is at the nearby Gregory's Place family centre. ==== George House Trust volunteers are on hand if you need them. ==== Services team will only be able to see people who do not have an appointment if it is most urgent. ==== If you have never used George House Trust before, please ring the services team first, on 0161 274 4499.

African Space is every month (on the 1st Tuesday of each month) for all African people who are living with HIV. It is for both women and men. ==== African Space is a safe and comfortable place to chat and socialise with other people living with HIV. ==== Light snacks, tea, coffee and soft drinks provided. ==== A free crèche for under 5's is at the nearby Gregory's Place family centre. ==== George House Trust volunteers and staff are on hand if you need them. ==== Feel free to come to one of the African Spaces whenever you wish. === If you have never used George House Trust before, please ring Siham first, on 0161 274 4499.

Wednesday 07/03/2012 - Revitalise your Volunteering Session

This training session will give you the chance to review your volunteering. You will also get the chance to write a personal development plan. Also in this session you will gain an understanding of organisational developments. ==== All volunteers that want to review their volunteering and find out about organisational updates and developments should attend this meeting. ==== You need to BOOK a place in advance via email. ==== A certificate of attendence will be presented to all those that attend this meeting.
