Tuesday 10/08/2010 - African Space

Time: 12 noon - 2.30pm
Location: George House Trust, 77 Ardwick Green North
This fortnightly social space is for African people who are living with HIV. It is for both women and men. The African Space is a safe and comfortable place to chat and socialise with other people living with HIV. Light snacks, tea, coffee and soft drinks provided. A free crèche for under 5's is at the nearby Gregory's Place family centre. George House Trust volunteers and staff are on hand if you need them. Feel free to come to one of the African Spaces whenever you wish. If you have never used George House Trust before, please ring Durani first, on 0161 274 4499.

Wednesday 11/08/2010 - Volunteer Training: Hepatitis C and HIV

Time: 5.30pm-8.30pm
Location: George House Trust
Introduction to Hep C transmission, treatment and issues for people who are co-infected with HIV/Hep C. This training is relevant for volunteers in Supporting People roles. To book a place on this course, email volunteering@ght.org.uk or call 0161 274 5653.

This weekly social space is for gay men living with HIV. Gay men’s Space is a safe and comfortable place to chat and socialise with other people living with HIV. Light snacks, tea, coffee and soft drinks provided. George House Trust volunteers and staff are on hand if you need them. LEARNING & WORK OPPORTUNITIES This month Manchester Welfare Rights will be talking and advising us about learning or working when you are claiming benefits for sickness. Feel free to come to the Gay Men’s Space whenever you wish. If you have never used George House Trust before, please give Dunkan or Jill a call first, on 0161 274 4499.

PRIDE TALK WITH COLIN. Light snacks, tea, coffee and soft drinks provided. A free crèche for under 5's is at the nearby Gregory's Place family centre. George House Trust volunteers and staff are on hand if you need them. Feel free to come to one of the Women’s Spaces whenever you wish.
