hands in the air for volunteering All service users and active volunteers can become a member of George House Trust. The deadline, if you want to vote at our next annual general meeting, is Tuesday 4 August. Becoming a member of George House Trust is a way to get more involved in our strategic development.

As a member, you can:

  • Attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
  • Vote at the AGM, or at any other member’s only meetings, on decisions affecting our strategic development
  • Nominate yourself (or someone else) to become a Trustee

Examples of decisions that require a vote by members include: any change in our name, changes to our main charitable aims, and the annual election of trustees.

If you are a service user or an active volunteer you can apply to be a member. If you are interested, please read the document below that explains your responsibilities and how to apply. Please complete the attached form and return to the office by 5pm Tuesday 4 August.
