Service Monitoring and Review Team

To ensure we listen to our service users needs and obtain feedback we hold a monthly Service Monitoring and Review Team (SMART) meeting.

This group has a membership of around 20 service users, representative of a broad range of our service users. Feedback from the group is presented directly to the Trustees and reviewed regularly by the senior management team affect the direction of the organisation.

Topics regularly reviewed by the group include:

  • Website
  • Group Spaces
  • Campaigns
  • Events and courses
  • Methods of obtaining service user feedback

Membership of this group is currently closed but if you are interesting in taking part in the future please contact Lynda Shentall on 0161 274 4499 or email Lynda@ght.org.uk.

Reports of recent SMART meetings

The first meeting of the SMART group elected at the Annual General Meeting in October 2008 took place at George House Trust Offices on 18 October.

13 attended and there were a number of apologies.

The group is a combination of some people who were involved last year as well as quite a few new faces.

The main focus of the meeting was for people to get to know one another better as well as understand the function of the SMART group and their responsibility as a SMART group member.

The group will meet every month over the next 12 months. Next month the group will discuss its workplan for 2008-2009 and access to services.
